Zucchetti Centro Sistemi S.p.A (ZCS), a multi-business company and a leader in technological innovation, further strengthens its corporate structure in the healthcare sector and announces the entry of Afea Srl, a top player in the field specializing in integrated information systems for hospitals, nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, and outpatient clinics, into the ZCS group.

The agreement involved the acquisition of 51% of the share capital of Afea Srl, while the remaining 49% remains with the founding partners. This operation represents a strategic step that combines expertise, technologies, and know-how to create a center of excellence for innovation in Hospital Healthcare, both in Italy and abroad.

The alliance between the two companies also includes the creation of a joint Research and Development Center dedicated to artificial intelligence applied to healthcare. This will enable the development of algorithms and intelligent systems capable of enhancing existing software solutions by integrating new predictive and assistive features to improve operational management, the doctor-patient relationship, and the overall efficiency of healthcare facilities.
