ZCS Automation at the Host 2023 trade fair

ZCS Automation www.zcsautomation.com will take part in “Host”, the international trade fair dedicated to the catering and hotel industry, to be held at Fiera Milano from 13th to 17th October 2023.

During the event, the division will present suitable solutions chiefly for two specific sectors: laundries involved in the hospitality business, as well as hotel, casino and general entertainment groups that directly handle the linen and clothing of both staff and guests.

Automated uniform management and distribution

Phoenix is range of conveyor belts for hung garments, equipment that enables 100% customised traceability when picking up clean and returning soiled items of clothing. These distribution systems, consisting of conveyor belts and fully automated return doors, allow, not only 100% traceability, but also a space saving when compared to the classic locker room of between 80 and 90 %, along with considerable cost savings (24/7 operation even without the presence of staff).

Management and automated distribution of folded garments and sponges

The new rotary dispenser (900 series) is now available, which will be used to dispense high-use garments such as aprons, sponges, uniforms and non-personalised, bespoke garments.  On the hotel side, it is necessary to monitor the laundry service in terms of efficiency, the availability of material (stock) and, in the case of major leaks, how/where to reduce them. Thanks to software (Trak) and hardware (767 - G07) integration, the tracking of the most expensive material (e.g. sponges) being stolen is monitored (invisible reports without any alarms or with audible alarms).

At the heart of traceability management and automated distribution is RFID, and with it all the Smart systems and equipment for tracking everything that enters and leaves the laundry premises: from uniforms, flat linen and hotel sponges to table linen and accessories for restaurants, etc. The support of a web-based management system such as the ZCS Trak - guarantees 100% traceability of materials throughout the laundry supply chain in a single solution.  Thanks to its integration with our machines interconnected with IoT technologies - in line with the Transition 4.0 plan - which both distribute and track textile garments on which RFID is applied, it is possible to gather real-time data on the processing and distribution flow, in order to pinpoint material inefficiency and loss.
