TWO DAYS OF MEETINGS WITH OUR INTERNATIONAL PARTNERS AT LA BAGNAIA RESORT
The 7th International Meeting of the ZCS Robotics Division was held in the beautiful La Bagnaia Resort, in the heart of the Sienese hills, the 30th of September and 1st of October.
It has became an important event for international partners and was an occasion to renew professional collaborations and to strengthen interpersonal relationships.
The main theme of the meeting was: Innovation, a driving force to continue to grow and be competitive on international markets.
“We plant ideas, we build a future” is the new business motto that sums up the company's philosophy.
“Great ideas, enormous engineering efforts, a lot of human and financial resources employed in creating new products that are technically sophisticated and highly innovative. We must create value and gain a clear advantage over our competitors. We must innovate without disregarding what we have achieved," declares Fabrizio Bernini, President of Zucchetti Centro Sistemi Spa, a company that in recent years has become a leader in the field of mechatronics.
ZCS went from a turnover of over 8 million euros to an estimated 50 million euros in 2013 – with an expected growth of around 15% compared to the previous year. The number of employees and collaborators has grown together with the turnover, and today there are about 200 people working in the company.
The reasons for this growth are without a doubt linked to the success of Ambrogio, the robot mower, which has shifted the company’s core-business from information technology to robotics.
Over 200,000 models have been sold in over 30 countries, and today it is the only robot mower that can meet any lawn-care need.
The latest models and “revolutionary” technological innovations will be presented at the meeting.
“We do not accept the comparison with inferior products, we reject unfair competition on pricing; we want to continue to do what we’re capable of and what has allowed us to become one of the leaders in the sector: to create innovative and high-performance products,” affirms Bernini.
The meeting will be attended by EU importers of the ZCS Robotics Division, but also importers from Sweden, Turkey, Albania, Russia and the United States.
It will provide a forum for professional dialogue, technical updating and socialisation dedicated to innovation.
