ZCS Automation at Expodetergo International 2026: new solutions for the traceability and automated management of garments

ZCS Automation will take part in Expodetergo International 2026, the international exhibition dedicated to technologies, products and services for the professional laundry and textile care industry, taking place from 23 to 26 October at Fiera Milano Rho.

At Hall 1 – Stand M01, the company will present its solutions for automating and monitoring the entire professional garment management cycle: from distribution to return, through to traceability and stock availability control.

Among the new solutions showcased at the event will be WAssistant, the virtual assistant accessible directly via WhatsApp. The solution allows users to interact with the system to reserve garments, request a size change, check availability and credits, report any issues and receive automatic notifications. For operational staff, WAssistant also makes it possible to check machine inventory and receive alerts related to stock levels and anomalies.

ZCS Automation will also showcase its ozone sanitisation technology integrated into Titan dispensers, already presented at other industry events, developed to ensure the highest hygiene standards during picking.

The different technologies – hardware, software, RFID and digital services – come together in a single ecosystem designed to provide a complete overview of flows and stock availability, with real-time updated information and greater control over daily operations.

The growing focus on product traceability is also part of an evolving European regulatory framework. With the introduction of the Digital Product Passport (DPP) under the European Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR), the textile sector is among the priority areas identified by the European Commission. Companies will therefore need to prepare for new requirements concerning the collection, management and sharing of product information throughout the product lifecycle, with specific provisions for textiles expected from 2027 onwards. In this context, RFID technology can play an important role in building increasingly comprehensive and integrated digital traceability systems.
