Groom Robot, the automated Horse Feeder
-
Zucchetti Centro Sistemi, an Italian leader in IT and robotics, recognised as one of the most innovative and technologically advanced companies by the Prime Minister’s Office and well known on the market for the Ambrogio robot mower, presents Groom Robot, the automated Horse Feeder
Groom-Robot is a completely automated feeding system that perfectly simulates natural grazing by allowing horses to eat hay and feed in regular and personalised doses. This has surprising effects on the health and wellbeing of the horse.
With an operating autonomy of one week, Groom-Robot frees the owner from the obligation of going to the stable several times a day to feed the horse, while allowing them to continue monitoring the animal’s condition. It comes with a timed dispenser and the container can hold up to 70 kg of feed. Each time the door is opened, a light spray of water is released onto the hay which cools it down and removes dust to prevent and treat respiratory problems that often afflict horses.
The number, hour and time of the daily openings can be programmed to suit the dietary needs of the animal.
With a feeding system that perfectly reproduces a horse’s natural diet, the horse is calmer and more willing to be mounted. Groom-Robot is an extremely accurate tool used and endorsed by veterinarians for preventing and treating pathologies connected to the horse’s digestive system.
Equipped with hi-tech optional extras that allow constantly updating the operations: GSM/GPRS remote alarm to send an end-of-day report via SMS to the owner’s mobile phone with information on the operations; immediate notification via SMS of any problems; a video camera for visually checking the functionality of the Robot and condition of the horse.
In case of faults, our Technical Service Centres can repair the Groom-Robot in only a few hours after receiving the report.
If you love your horse, then think about its health and wellbeing.
