As we have often told here on our blog, Innovation and Technology are “invading” more and more companies. Today those who do not believe in innovating their own company, in making it more technological, risk to lose the market in terms of competitiveness.

The second half of the twentieth century has seen a remarkable increase in agricultural productivity. The global productivity  per hectare from 1950 to 2000 has grown by almost 150%, that of the agricultural labor of 75%, the total of 55% (Source: Dott. Roberto Esposti, National Institute of Agricultural Economics).

The 4.0 industry phenomenon begins to take more and more ground in Italy and the recent plan of investment prepared by the government is the true proof. Before seeing the plan in detail and before knowing any aspect, we try to understand where this 4.0 industry, also known as Smart Factory, comes from.

While waiting for the Innovation Week - 4 meeting days dedicated to the product innovation, process , market  and human resources -  organized to spread the culture not only among entrepreneurs but even for us that we are employees and business managers – we wondered if ZCS is a 4.0 company that is an innovative company that adopts new technologies to use their full potentialities as drivers of growth and competitiveness.

The fourth industrial revolution has begun and the entrepreneurs, like me, can’t give up the opportunity to think about the future of our businesses; we must innovate if we want to compete and grow.
